  • i was jus dx with hep c on 07/21/09 my alt was a week ago 1000 im starting treatment of pegassys and rivabarin what do u think about it and how bad its going to be?

  • please watch Lloyd's video titled "Interferon for Hepatitis C Treatment" &/or the playlist "Ronnie's Interferon Story" ... that's how bad it could be. there are a few people that seem to skate by unscathed but they appear to be rare.

you've had little over a month to research alternatives, what's the rush, lover.

  • can you please help me sir. I bought milk thistle in a bottle , fruity liquid form, it says it is silybum marianum. it has a base of sea buckthorn berries that makes it taste fruity. it is amde in germany . its called chardon marie milk thisltle

  • you can Ask Lloyd questions directly on his "ASK LLOYD ABOUT..." page of his website.

  • I used to take milk thistle but found it gave me more pronounced liver ache after drinking. There is not scientific proof that it helps and remember, this guy is plugging his product.

  • SO DON"T DRINK.

You need to stop anyway, it's damaging your Liver more.

And actually it's fairly common knowledge that Milk Thistle is good for your Liver. You can get some anywhere Lloyd holds no patent on Milk Thistle, nor would he want one... However if we allow the pharmaceutical companies all the power they can stand... they'd patent that too.

  • I am an absolute believer in the power of Milk Thistle.

Not just based on the extensive research that I have done, but from personal experience.

A routine exam of my bood revealed alarmingly elevated liver enzymes.

Long story short, my doctor told me to come back in 6 weeks for more bloodwork and that it generally takes several weeks for the levels to drop.

I started on Milk Thistle and one week later my liver enzymes were perfectly normal.

Not enough room here for details, but it works!

  • Thank you, your a good man

  • U know i had a comment and wondering if you had any answers. I have taken milk thistle for a while now. On and off for a year. It worked to keep my liver enzymes normal but recently my enzymes have not been normal at all. I was taken 2 capsels of milk thistle at a 1000 mg a day and for some reason my ggt and alt has went out of range. I am wondeirng do you think i am taking to much of the thislte that it went out of range or do you think that me taking 2000 mg a day my body got used to it

  • beautiful house

  • @Mrplex63 which one were you taking ?can i just take any milk thistle?

    thanks

  • HI every one,i'm on treatment week 4 with interferon and ribavirin ,do you think i can take milk thistle with the treatment ,as i would like to improve my liver functions.please can some one help?

  • @Greev84: Interesting that you asked this question today because we are about to post a naturopathic regimen on both the 4chango and Hevnawe channel for liver health, within a hour or so. It should remain posted for a few weeks.

  • @4chango you have any advice what kind of supplement?

  • @tetankemint:: It is very sad that the allopathic world feels threaten by the naturopathic approach, to the point that they go to extremely psychotic methods of trying to discredit natural ancient medicine. Milk thistle is very good for your liver, but milk thistle is not enough by itself it must be taken with other hepatic supplements for optimal results.
