what kind of roto tool do you use? (Proxxon?)

the base is a Proxon drill stand which old printergides as X

It could be much better, but most things are recycled.

How did you make this CNC machine? Im looking to make something small like that

Its a older version of Proxxon 50/e
This tool has a axial "clearance" so that only drilling is possible.

ahhhmmm excuse me can you teach me how did you made the drilling machine?... and a question i would also ask if your machine is also capable of routing the design onto the PCB? im also planning on doing a DIY CNC PCB Drilling and Routing Machine can you please guide me im just a newbie

@krazikoffee
i think the machine is not stably and exact enougth to route the PCB.
Becaue i use a modelling-servo as Z there is no exact position possible.
If you want to use drawerguides use two short in a row to avois tension. There ar some CNC forums with much information.

@maxabeles
i make PCB for small microcontrollerprojects like smc3 osr interfaces to connect things to a PC. My deviceprogrammers for CPLD,AVR or AT89 are also selfmade.

What kind of spindles do you use? They seem trapezoid or ACME leadscrews. All in all, nice work! I used your tip an drawerguides for my X axis, using an old kitchen drawer with some modifications.

I use for X a metric M6 spindle. Ist not good, but the modelcraftmotor is fast with low moment.
For Y its a spindle from a Porsche car-jack which works great.
