How to add music to your Tumblr page using Hypster (Voice tutorial with steps in description)

So here are step by step directions.

Step 1: Have a Tumblr if you already have one just go to the customize your profile page

Step 2: Once on the customize your profile page go to theme. If you haven't already click the use Custom HTML / CSS if you haven't already.

Step 3: Go to www.Hypster.com and make an account. It's super fast and you don't even have to go on your email and confirm your account like on every other website you register on.

Step 4: Build your playlist! Just search the name of the artist or the song. I do both to narrow it down. after you find the song you like just click add.

Step 5: after you have built your playlist click "My account" on hypster.com.

Step 6: Click on the picture where it says "Player skins".

Step 7: after you have clicked that click on Example blog. DO NOT CLICK ON CLaSSIC player. (you can but it doesn't look nearly as nice)

Step 8: Click the style player you would like and click GET CODE!

Step 9: Copy the code and go back to your tab that you have open on your tumblr customization page.

Step 10: Search through all that code until you find body . If you don't want to search you can just press CTRL + F and search body and it should pop up.

Step 11: Once you find body just paste the code under it and you should be good to go after you press save and close or save

additional information

You can turn auto play on by changing where it says 'autostart':false in the code to true

same with shuffle .

I also believe you can turn the volume down and you can put it at the top by changing "bottom" to "top" in the code

@MediaEnraged If i want to update my playlist do i have to redo this entire step and get a new code or is there a way i can add songs to my playlist from tumblr?

@RasberryBuns Go to configure settings on hypster when you are choosing the color of the bar and there will be other options and one of the options is to turn that off.
