HOLY CRAP!!!! How in the world are you doin' that! Man, I've tried slapping w/hammer ons & all sorts of other stuff & I can't get anything that sounds remotely as good as that. Is there a particular scale you like to play, or is it anything that comes to mind?

I try not to think in terms of I am going to play this or that scale usually, I try to find things that sound interesting. Scale wise of course learning a simple major scale has most things that are building blocks for everything else.

Simple two octave blues scale is very useful (flat 3rd, flat 5) modes are of course useful, Dorian and Mixolydian I find very good to have in your vocabulary among other.
