i didnt know the name used to be ISS. it is still closeknit, but thank god there r more places to hang out n stuff now. still cant get over how old the school really is. duh, im being stupid, but still, i grew up there, im entitled to a few weird thoughts. :)

@Majormockery151 thanks! I like hearing your thoughts: I lived there during two different time periods: late 80s, early 90s. each decade was different. Yanbu has changed a lot!

Crazy seeing this! I went to ISS (I think that was the school's name . . .) from 1983 - 1988. Yanbu was definitely an experience - I appreciated being able to travel the world while living there more than I appreciated living there. It was not all fun, and I had more than a few bad memories of treatment by the locals.

@dbeckwith1717 Glad you found it! I lived there from '87-93. We changed schools in '92 and I ((think)) they changed the name to YIS at that time. Yanbu has a lot of good memories for me too, yes, with some bad as well. I miss the travel, I miss the town, and mostly: the people - such a tight knit group of friends and families.
