"Big Bad Blues" was written by Carl Perkins and released as a 45 single in 1964. In the UK, the single was; A: Lonely Heart/B: Big Bad Blues, on Brunswick UK, 05909, in June, 1964 as a 7' vinyl 45. This was during the tour of the UK when Carl Perkins met the Beatles, who recorded three of his songs in 1964. The Nashville Teens were the backing band on this session.
