where in nova scotia can you pan for gold? i live in here and would like to try it but can't find any place to go and pan.

comment about the desert fox wheel,i have one and i get the finest micron gold with it.you need to play with you'r angles and water flow,but work's damn fine.

I had bought a Desert Fox and tried it, was not to impressed so I gave it away. Our gold is fine and it just does not work for that, If you gold is chunky which it works real good on then you don't need to wasted your money on the desert fox a good old fashion pan works just as well. In my eyes I wasted my money, I gave it away because I didn't want someone thinking I sold them a peice of junk.
But thats my opinon. So good luck

Not to tell you your business but from the video you see the heavies going into the hole. Suggestion is up the water flow a little bit. Good video.....Test it with lead shot / BB's

not a demonstration other than demonstrating that I have one.Works fine for me.I use it for soil sampling over a large area, small kraft baggie full of soil and count the gold grains when run.saves me a bag load of time. for demonstrations go to desert fox's page.
