@Slimshadyuk7 Same with my 25 Hatchback. CD Player, A/C, etc, MOT is no trouble, emissions are very low, 57'800 miles and no head gasket troubles, great condition for an 9 year old car. Those who say Rover are shit are dinosours from the 70s who haven't paid attention to the automotive world for the last 35 years

I've rover 25 1.6 which is brilliant car I love it but I know rumour say that most rover 25 prone to head gasket but it will be great car if head gasket sorted.

I have a rover 45 its 10 years old its got a/c cd player twinairbags everyting you need on it really. Bought last year when sombody spent £500 on it with the uprated Head Gasket kit new cam belt and full service. Its got 113000 miles on it and it drives like new. Took it for its mot last week and it went through with no problems. I paid £800 for the car. You dont see many ford vauxhall or bmw's at that age still running and passing its mot first time WHO SAYS ROVER ARE SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@garethkeri You must have been very unlucky then, as most 25/45s are still on the road at 11 and 12 years old, rust free and running great....

Head gaskets are still prone to crack to shit.

The 45 needed a more 75 rounded boot but was nice to look at, 25 much much nicer than bfore. Smarts know to replace the hg of the k before it blows with the newest version. They're fine then.

no its not bmw, i used to have a rover 45 that nearly bankrupted me in the end, i had scince it was 3 years old, but my the time it was 7 it was only fit for scrap! I now drive a volvo v70, 10 years old and hardly run in!

@TheLindalahughes Id say the only time is the Rover 100 issue about 1997. Just shame that people have pre conceived ideas about MGRover most of which are often wrong.
