Sonic sadomasochist that I am, I was standing next to one of the PA stacks, and would rate it even louder than the mighty Dillinger Valve system.
The bass felt like it was emanating from the very centre of the earth, while some of the mid-high frequencies that Ambarchi was unleashing via his table-full of distortion pedals felt downright dangerous.
Full-on whole body immersion.

Yeah, a great way to end the fest, along with the Haino/Merzbow. Front row centre was probably less painful than the sides near those huge Bass speakers... :-)
