Recorded June 23-30, 2007.
Anchorage is a consolidated city-borough in the state of Alaska. With an estimated 279,671 municipal residents in 2007. It is Alaska's largest city and constitutes more than 40 percent of the state's total population.
The video begins as I fly into Anchorage on a small seaplane and land at Lake Hood float plane base. During the flight in we get a view of downtown, cook inlet and the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Now on land there is a view of the Anchorage skyline from across the Cook Inlet. There is one segment from a square in downtown Anchorage. The video concludes back at the airport as I am about to leave town.

People in Alaska ( cities, towns, villages, etc. ) don't live in igloos up here unless your stranded in the middle of nowhere where it snows a lot if you people didnt know that. If you thought that your retarded

Cook Inlet's beach doesn't look too great. Why is the water so brown?

@NYer79 Actually, yes. Search for "gangland anchorage" and you'll get some history channel documentary; the best version is the one broken up into 15-minute pieces, but they're all the same thing and equally sobering.

Alaska has very few road access making most of the state very isolated and remote.
