Parveen must be loving music to an extreme as she must have put years of labor to perfect these ragas. The voice is very sweet and her range is almost to the fourth octave, which is extremely rare in the indo pak region.

Not unless they are felt by the soul of a person who can feel the raag and then having both a soul as well as a material body, that person then convert it into sound, They remain dead. Only we the human beings who possess both a material body as well as a soul can do that. The purely ethereal bodies never can. And that is what makes them so jealous of us. Peace and Love, Brother.

@azzy314159 There is no such thing as a dead raga. They say ragaas exist in the universe, the singer catches the vibrations. But yes some do it better than others! :)

If this is the real music, then what are Lata and Rafi singing. It took me many years to really appreciate Parveen Sultana. She has put in so much labor of love to perfect the ragas.
