The beauty to the Mona Lisa is found in the allegory of the left -vs- the right. She is a symbol of duality. : )

Amen on burning the Ice-T CD! Teachers and historians tend to look on the Mona Lisa as a beautiful woman, but I'm really respecting him right now because Da Vinci himself did not think she was beautiful. It is said that on that day, he was seeking out a plain model, no real character to her face. I actually went the L'ouvre on one of my trips to Paris. The thing is like 18" tall, and she's not atttractive. I don't get all the hype either, but I agree with you! Burn Mona and Ice-T, (TARD!)

Yeah, I have heard the same thing. Maybe she was transgender. Either way she is not attractive to me.
