Heather Mills outside the court with her sister discussing the details of her divorce settlement from Sir Paul McCartney. She said she recieved £24.3m as a divorce payout. She said she will appeal against the publication of the judgement but not the settlement. She also says she is glad it's all over.

Alimony should just be what it takes to get back to the life they had before marriage, make her job worthy (as stay at home moms resumes aren't good after years of marriage), give her a place that is comparable to where she was before marriage, because that's what he got: a place that he had before marriage. Whatever she contributed, subtracted by her proportion of the expenses. She'd get her contribution, restore her professional life, and a path to move forward. Same for a poorer husband.

I hate this entitlement thing, she marries someone and she's entitled to money because she was accustomed to it when she got married? He was accustomed to plenty of things that she no longer can give him. Chris Rock says he'd be accustomed to sex and dinner. I know everything has to come down to money, but it's dumb that someone is entitled to things because they got married. Breach of contract, I guess. And he loses his daughter when he loves her and can take better care of her.

Yes, she wanted more, but what she got is more than what she should get. If I get something from someone, I can be happy to get it or I could want more than I got and thus, act like I didn't get what I want and whatever the other didn't give was what they got and therefore they are happy. She doesn't understand that without her, Paul wouldn't have to give all this. He didn't get everything he wanted, he wanted love and companionship and he didn't get that because she schemed him.

She says Paul got everything he wanted because this is what happens with powerful people? She's taking money from a powerful person who shouldn't have to give anything. Why doesn't Paul get his daughter, he can clearly afford to take better care for his daughter and loves her just as much as Heather does. How can he get what he wants when people like Heather are golddigging their way into getting what they want?
