Check out the basic operation of the new for 2010 Jaeger-LeCoultre Duomètre à Quantième Lunaire watch. Note the 1/6 of a second foudroyante complication.
The small dial in the middle is a 1/6 second "foudroyant" -- complication showing accurate fractions of a second -- just demonstrating how snazzy, artful and expensive this JLC model is.
This piece is tremendoes (aldo it also costs a tremendous amount of money). I saw it in Antwerp (Belgium) a month ago and I was "overblown"! Stunning!
I wish it was longer.

this may be a stupid question but what does the small dial in the middle indicate?
