This was a classic intro....why did you get rid of it RTÉ? WHYYYYY

Searched forever to hear this...good god that was a good intro. The watered down version you hear today isn't a patch on the original...nor is the watered down presenter.
This time actually seems like the pinnacle of all intros...think of like the Match of the day intro, snooker intro, even the cricket (not that I was ever a fan but it was pretty good).
Then even TV shows...Dallas...Who's the Boss...Silver Spoons...Littlest Hobo...Family Ties...in fact any TV show...what happened to that? :/

i had no idea channel 4 used to air the late late show, i can see why they stopped now though, must of stopped airing it when pat kenny took over
