How to Make Redneck Wineglasses

Happy Holidays -- Everyone
The holidays are here and we at Wiredin.cc thought it would be fun to share with you a fun holiday video and a great gift idea. Starring in today's video is Sondra Harper, our official decorator & designer; Eddie Harper our photographer & videographer extraordinaire; Christy Stratton, of Connecting Houston Home and our hostess for Wiredin to Real Estate and myself, Chiquita. So let's get started...

Redneck Wine Glasses
Materials Needed:
Assortment of Decorative Ribbon approx. ½ " wide
E-6000 Glue
Glass Mason Jars with Lids
Glass Candle Sticks
Assortment of Acrylic Paints and Paint Brushes
Assortment of Paint Pens

Directions:
Gluing
Circle the candle stick and the bottom of the mason jar with glue.
Let it set for a few minutes before attaching the mason jar to the candle stick.




Painting
Once the glue has hardened, turn the bottom of the wine glass upside down and paint the underside. Its best to do this in thin layers, allowing the paint to dry before applying the second coat.

Decorate
Start decorating the glass. Wrap some ribbon around bottom of the glass. Write special messages on the glass, glue rhinestone bling on, or even put your company name on the bottom for gifts to clients.

Enjoy
Fill your glass up with colored candy, nuts, cookies, special teas or even chocolate powder. These are great gifts for teachers, friends and neighbors.
