London based visual artists Wyllie O Hagan founded their St Patrick's Day Film Festival, in 2007 on YouTube. Carricklee Races illustrates why they did it. The festival celebrates St Patrick's Day in a creative way. Film themes showcase imaginative, traditional and non-traditional aspects of Ireland's culture; its inclusiveness, its changes, natural beauty, music, song and storytelling, - fiction, fact or legend - they are all here.

We welcome short films about Ireland to showcase here on our channel over the St Patricks Day Holiday period. In 2009, eight of our films were featured on YouTube with over 1 million views. If you have a short video that celebrates an aspect or experience of Ireland in a creative or special way, then please do get in touch with us.

We have only one rule - no racist stereotypes or binge drinkers.
