A thank you letter from The Penny Ice Creamery

We don't make movies, we make delicious ice cream. And generally we try to stay out of politics. But when our elected officials get it right, and enact policies that work, we feel it is important to recognize their efforts. So we made this video letter to President Obama, Senators Boxer and Feinstein, Representative Farr, and others to show how one part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act directly affected us. And many others.

The loan is backed by enough hard assets that you needn't loose any sleep over our loan guarantee. Not sure where you got the 14 trillion figure but assuming you are correct we encourage you to continue your civic duty and keep an eye on that other $13,999,999,750,000.

Actually the video was written and paid for by the owners of The Penny Ice Creamery, although they didn't pay much since just about anyone with a video camera (most cell phones) and a computer can make and distribute a video like this on YouTube.

Believe it or not, Zach shot the video on his iPhone and edited it with iMovie. Kendra's husband put the music together. We did it all on a Monday (the only day the shop is closed).

research an SBA loan. Your tax dollars didn't start this business. If you're really worried about what YOUR tax dollars did then check out the farm bill, that's where you really did help sell fattening products to people.

Why so arrogant? If I needed instructions on how a SBA loan works I would have asked. If you didn't use tax dollars then why are you groveling to the administration?

Minimum wage is $8.50 in California and we start our employees higher than that with regular raises. But on a non serious side, we are robots.
