  • Dr. Shirin ebadi is very courageous. She spoke the truth about the catastrophic situation of human rights in Iran, although she should return to Iran. She was a judge and director of a court in the government of Shah. But after the islamic revolution(=islamic coup) she lost her job as a judge, because according to islamic regulations a woman cannot be a judge. What a nonsense and unfair regulation!! Mandana

  • @mandan9 Lol!!!!! Ebadi is a superficial, uneducated, simplistic woman! She got a Nobel for nothing.

  • She is well-spoken and has many valid points, but let's not forget that she actively opposed the man and the government form that allowed her to receive an education and her station in life, and she still speaks ill of that man, while still supporting the source of the ideas that she actively opposes. She is a mass of contradictions who ought to leave the big picture to others. However, she has an incisive wit and mind for details. Academics accept her views wholesale far too much.

  • We are proud for you like Iranians but very suprised about your declaration of your olde chief Mr F BS (he is died). please be honest with yourself and also with the memory of died personne.Rgds

  • See my video on Gender Equality to see how different religions and cultures treat women.
