  • also are you aloud to land anywhere on the beach?

  • do most of the ppgs flying down the coast in encinitas take off from torrey? what kind of motor is this?

  • @FFFreddy01 I realize you posted this quite a while ago, but just in case anyone else is curious: these fall under FAR Part 103: Ultralights, so Part 91 doesn't apply. There's no requirement for transponders/Mode C.

  • I should have been more specific. Im a pilot so am wondering do these fall under the same far aim rules? I would assume so. Do you need radio or mode c if your within the mode c vail? Someone give me some legal insight ont hese they look like tons of fun...where do i get one.

  • hello ya acctually he isnt in a aircraft its like a perachute a with motor in the back of it i saw some one flying one of those they seem really cool, and secondly the rules are basicly the same as a parachute except that it has a motor like a propler so it can go up and, forward.maybe backward who knows ive never been on one haha

  • that is too cool...I have so many Q's. First of all is what rules apply to this sort of flying? are you an aircraft? if so do u need radio comm? I am a private pilot so familiar with riles here do same ones apply to you>? give me more info on how much, etc
