Akane Loves the Way Ranma Lies

My very first MMV! :D

Wow, ain't it shocking to see me do one of these puppies? :P Usually I draw my own video-making material, not hop on a website and look for ones already drawn. xD Ah, well. I just wanted to try something new and different, for a change. Did I do well? :3

Well, for those who know me well, they know I DETEST rap music, and god forbid I DO listen to it, I'm very, VERY particular. Eminem is one of the ONLY rapper I really like; and that's because not ALL of his ongs are about women, sex, and drugs. lolz

I've been addicted to this things for several days now. I first heard it one the radio, but I never really payed attention to the lyrics. Once I searched it up here on Youtube, however, reading along to the lyrics as the song played, I was amazed. The lyrics are so deep and raw...I absolutely fell in love with the song. They pack such a punch.

I looked up several AMVs to the song (like FMA, Ouran High...) but to my great chagrin, and surprise, not a soul had made a Ranma version! I thought that was crazy--after all, the songs fits Ranma and Akane really well. Besides the fact Ranma is abusive, too. =,= In canon, he swears never to hit a woman, and he beats up any jerk that tries to. (example: he and Soun kicked around Pantyhose when he tried to beat up Rouge in the manga.) For this song however, this are a tad altered.

There is a bit of a story to this, I guess. I'm not really sure if it has a beginning, middle, and end. Basically, Ranma and Akane are together, they love each other, but they both have hot tempers (like it says in the song, "a tornado meets a volcano"). They're always fighting, and sometimes tehy're fights escalate to violence. Akane, confused about her emotions and her relation with Ranma, finds comfort in Shinnosuke. She still wants to be with Ranma, so she remains faithful, but Ranma catches her and Shinnosuke together, just as Shinnosuke is grabbing Akane.
Ranma snaps, and beats up Shinnosuke. Then, he goes for Akane. Later, he hates himself for hurting her, having underestimated his own strength, and afraid that next time he got angry enough, he could kill her.
Akane always threatens him that she's going to leave him, but he makes her stay, and those threats send him into a rage, as well. He wants them to stop fighting and hurting each other, because he loves her and doesn't want her to leave.
Eventually, like they always do, Ranma and Akane work things out, just coming to terms that no relationship can be perfect, and theirs certainly isn't, and they're just going to have to live with that.

Thanks for your comment! :) But, I wasn't sure what you meant by your question. Are you asking when and why 1:18 - 3:19 - 3:20 happened in the video, or when and why they happened in the manga?
