  • i make lanterns like this, get a tin can 9from soup or sliced tomatoes etc) and put water in it and freeze it. then take it outsde, on pavement of asphalt and take a hammer and nail and hit the hammer into the nail and make pucntures and a design. then run it under hot water so the ice slides out, out in a tealight and add a wire to the top in two of the holes you made, and you have a lantern!

  • also, did anyone make this at home and what kind of paper did u use??? thanks

  • bummer, her web page is not longer there, she closed shop because her other projects were getting busy.

  • I'm trying to do this... but where would you purchase the rings?! I've tried Home Depot, Lowe's, Michael's & Jo-Ann's, but no luck!

  • "Your nest needs you." That's the best motto I've heard in years.

  • i wanna do this!!

  • I would use E6000 glue, other than that I like this project very much.
