  • As much as I love the solo aspect of this piece, one of the most enjoyable moments of my 5 years playing in a symphony was as a violist between 5:50-6:40. Ill never forget the sound waves from the brass and orchestra moving through my body

  • this concerto is a blessing from God, if God exists.

  • lol im listeing.. and i know what page hes on, and what line :P this is fun

  • @karennorwegian strangely, yes i have. And i like it :) it makes a day great :)

  • @kurenairubeus1985 Have you ever awakened to hearing this replaying in your head?

  • If I listen to this enough times, the audio memory in my brain will play it back over and over in my head. Auditory memory is one of the blessings we are born with. Isn't that how Beethoven still composed after going deaf?

  • This is absolutely beyond normal interpretations that can be heard among the best recordings done until today. It is so intense, passionate, elegant and brilliant ! Perlman at his best, for sure. Amazing.

  • 5:30 onward is just stunning... i learnt this movement last year and was wondering why the soloist didn't take part in this amazing passage. lol

  • chi e' il sordo che ha spolliciato in giu questo video !?!?
