I miss taking Tae Kwon Do in Hawaii... the most legit teacher I ever met.. my master was a 5th degree black belt I think by the time my family moved... we learned lots of stuff and did meditations then stretching then techniques and sparring and then more meditation. Now I don't know if there are any legit teachers around where I live now :( I only made it to green belt...

that's because people give out blackbelts like nothing in places outside of Korea and even in Korea the standards are low

You have to go to Kukkiwon in korea for an official blackbelt and you have to get tested by the officials there.

However it isn';t until 4th or 5th degree that Koreans will recognize you as a true blackbelt. 4th blackbelt is the minimum required to teach TKD in Korea
