Typical modern karate demo. Telegraphed movements, compliant opponents, flashy techniques, if Kenpo keeps traveling this path it will become the new Tae Kwon Do. I am glad I took Kenpo before it became this. All that is left is go to a Gracie BJJ school for a 3 hour seminar, and "BUY" a certification to teach BJJ and you will be TKD all the way! LOL.... Sorry if anyone is offended, but I am from old school Kenpo.

I was there in germany. It was, as always when I`ve seen Mr Speakman, a great seminar. Not only Mr Speakman was perfect, his assistents were very kind and executed the techniques with good power. Especially his fifth degree black belt student was terriffic.
Mr S. said he will return to germany in september. I will be there.

It looks like there are to many movements in de technique's but i can ensure you that there is enough Ki power in it,and don't forget that this is just a small part of 4 hours seminar i've put together,and last but not least: when "we" or other kenpo stylists practice these technique's..there is balanced force and Ki involved.

No problems @ all Richard,like you see is your student (like you say) realy in to it and i even had the pleasure to train with him in balve together with Sensei Lambert that went to the mini seminar in utrecht (litle sad i couldn't come with him)
