Most of us at one time or another have asked God "What do You see in me that makes me worthy of salvation? What do You see in me that You sent Your only son to die for me?" I'm reminded of Psalms 8:4 - "What is man that You are mindful of him?" Well first of all, God created us. Regardless of the ugliness inside all of us, He only sees beauty. Second, He loves us unconditionally.

This song by Mikeschair addresses those questions. The bridge of the song pretty much gives the answer: "You're worth it, you can't earn it. The cross have proven that you're sacred and blameless. Your life has purpose." So, yes, you *are* someone worth dying for.

wow this is so powerful this song touched me my father is 72 yrs old has had has had surgery after surgery suffering from 15 yrs of Parkinson and doesn't have a lot of time he is in the final stages of this of course god knows that several surgery's we almost lost him I keep praying everyday and I dont think god is hearing my prayers he is suffering so much not able to speak well and I need a miracle healing for my mom and dad .. thanks for posting this on this site god bless please pray

@mawroot You said "I don't think God is hearing my prayers". Not true. There are many verses in the Bible that say otherwise. Here are a few: Psalm 6:9, Psalm 34:15, Psalm 145:18-19, 1 John 5:14. And remember, just because you don't get exactly what you prayed for, it doesn't mean that God did not hear you. It either means that the time is not right, or that He has other plans. Remember He says "Your ways are not My ways". So, whatever you do, don't stop praying.

@bluebirdo9 I don't set quotas in my videos. I look at the lyrics, try to think of what kind of picture conveys the imagery, then go and search for such a picture. I don't pay any attention to whether the people are black, white, red, green, etc. Besides, several races are represented in my video. Do my videos contain a lot of white people? Yes, and that's because the image repositories that I happen to search have a lot of white people.Anyway read John 3:16 for the answer to your question.

@LordFhalkyn No, you have not offended me. But I think you may have offended the author of the song. I think the song *does* convey exactly what Scripture reveals. Anyway, you and I are on the same page. We agree that we are *all* woeful sinners, that we are unworthy, yet God's love and forgiveness is far surpassing anything we can imagine. Yeah, in *our* eyes we are not worth dying for, but in God's eyes we *are*. Oh, and stir away...complacency doesn't accomplish anything.

Our worth comes from the redeeming grace of Jesus Christ, who died a death he didn't deserve for those who richly deserve it many times over. I've no doubt, that, if it were necessary, He would return to do it again.

I never really understood why i was so important to HIM but now i can see that i am someone worth dying for. He carried the cross and died for me because he has so much love for me and you.

@mawroot my heart goes out to you and your grandpa. i know what it's like to lose ppl you love and that are so close to you. but if you haven't heard already then lemme tell you: your grandpa is whole and well in jesus name. God has already declared your grandpa's healing and it's done. believe him for that! :)
