    Все надо бы заняться для эстетики, но как-то я все не соберусь :(

    Твои гляну, канеш. В горизонте на брусьях отжимания видел - я пока так не могу :) . Но вообще я больше на акродорожке прыгаю, силовые только постольку поскольку.

  • It'll hurt a lot obviously, but all elite gymnasts go through it. If you're not flexible it doesn't matter because you will be in about 5 minutes. Elite Nationals have hard ass coaches who don't care if you feel pain or not.

  • I will be hurting very badly probably because i will of pulled many muscles which take time to heal. I think your theory is abit bizarre to be honest. The muscles take TIME to adjust their range of flexibility don't they? So i think a 5 minute fix is a load of...yeh you know. Im sorry but ill have to see your theory to believe it.

  • You can have your splits in 5 minutes. Get your coach to push you down to the ground and stay there for a good 30 seconds. Keep doing this, add 10 seconds more each time. You will be hurting very badly but you will have your splits for life, guaranteed.

  • so active stretching is before you commence physical activity and static stretching is after you have completed physical activity (running, cycling etc).

  • Oh, and about exercises:

    If you have a partner - USE HIS/HER help! It gives really great results (for me).

    No special stretches, I believe your martial art trainer will show you right exercises. He's a LOT better advisor than me :)

    I do standart swings and lunges + trying splits and do static stretches everey evening :)
