One of the finest openings in movie history. Reminds me of magic realism.

This movie is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen.

Incredible film, absolutely stunning prelude. The acting, art direction and score are perfect.

Tristan und Isolde was composed by Richard Wagner between 1857 and 1859. The revolutionary Opera lays the foundations of atonal music, that will be developed by musicians in the 1900s.

Hands down the best film from 2011.

@DoctorNayle This is just the prelude. The rest of the movie is very different, visualy. And This images are not only beautiful, but essential. This is no sleeping pill; on the contrary, you might need Xanax or something stronger after watching it.
