Soupy was also credited with saying on air that when he and his girl watch baseball he kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls...don't know if it's true or not but there certainly a lot of "urban legends" surrounding soupy.

Sadly,"The Philo Kevetch"episodes that Soupy and Frank filmed at Palisades Amusement Park as"Philo And Bruno"no longer exsist.BTW:Soupy and Frank hated doing the scenes on Palisades "Swiss Sky Ride"..because both were scared of heights.

just had to post before i view what's here. from my sketchy memory i recall he said something like his girlfriend didn't know how to cook, but she sure knew how to make his banana creme. we all understood it wasn't dessert. let's all do the soupy shuffle!

I will never forget him telling the kids to send the green paper....as a result the show was taken off the air for two weeks...that had to be one of the funniest ad libs in the history of television.

I watched all the Soupy Sales shows. Maybe that's why everyone thinks I'm an ex-acidhead today. Remember when he told the kids to send him the green paper from dad's wallet,lol?

So would I. There was also an episode that took place in Palisades Amusement Park, long since demolished, that I would love to see.
