this is all from Draco's point of view.
'what do you want from me?'
'I see the way you look at her..'
'I still love you.. now honestly tell me that you don't love me anymore.'
'...I don't love you anymore.'
After this conversation, Hermione is heartbroken. He can't stop thinking about her and how he told a lie to protect her... before he can tell her the truth, that he always has loved her, Hermione is murdered (doesn't really have to be Snape, just the Bellatrix 'avada kedavra' is a little too dramatic xD)
A year passes (it's been a long year since we last spoke) Draco sees Hermione's ghost everywhere , he's constantly reminded of their final discussion before she died, and it tears him apart. he says to hermione constantly that he loves her and begs for her forgiveness.. but she never does reply.
