3 rock songs Teresa recorded in the 1970s.
1) Music Music Music - rock version 1973 on the Amsterdam label. I think some people at the time thought this was Melanie.
2) School Days - the Chuck Berry song
3) New Orleans - the 1960 hit of Gary US Bonds. This was on the Bob Thiele 1976 album "I Saw Pinetop Spit Blood", and later on "16 Most Requested Songs". She sang it live many times as well.

She sang 1 and 3 on the Sha Na Na TV show in 1977. That would be something to find.

  • Her backing band were the remnants of the British Pub-Rocking Heads, Hands and Feet, Bassist Chas Hodges, Pianist Dave Peacock and Lead Guitarist Albert Lee. Later they would morph into Oily Rags with Hughie Burns replacing Lee, and finally go down a to a duo - the famous Chas and Dave.

American Cowboy Actor turned British Pop Producer and Singer Steve Rowland would produce this.

  • @rockon18 Thanks for the good info. Keep a record for history.

But New Orleans was recorded separately later in US.
