They did a wonderful job! This show deals with issues that High School students haven't thought of dealing with. They portrayed their charactors very will with limited person experience.

focus kim, focus!!!

Great job.

again with the comments about Kim's supposed lack of commitment to character and other faults spotted in this clip - know that the actress who portrayed Kim was raw talent, someone who didn't have much experience if any at all in musical theater. I don't like people hinting ridicule at actor's 'lack of commitment' to their characters however because I know firsthand that the process of transforming into another being was inexplicably powerful.

I think you shouldn't be critizing on commitment. Obviously you weren't in the audience for this production...and Kendall did amazing expressing 'feeling' during the shooting scene.
*amazing job though*

I thought that went well. I would like to know what your director did to put the cast into charactar. Mine is making us do somethings that get us all in character and so far its going well. But back to you guys. Ellen has a strong voice and she keeps it up and I appalaude her for that because this part is hella high.

Hey! I go to Huntington Beach High School! :]]! And our performance of Miss Saigon was so good, it was crrrazy. I kinda agree on the conveying thing :/ I mean, don't get me wrong, it's good and all. But I'm vietnamese and my parents came from the war...they told me everyone was to the point where they were screaming for their lives.

we aren't rich, we are a regular class B public school and we get literally no funding from the schools, but what do you mean we dont convey it right?
kim seems to nonchalant.....this is such a passionate and beautiful song.
ellen is very good.
how large is your theatre department? like how many people try out and are in the shows and stuff?

i believe everyone who tried out for the show was in it so it was a cast of 40 if i remember right
usually 40 people in musicals and 15 to 20 people tryout for regular shows
