X initiative opening, 2010, Dianne Bowen's critique with Art Critic Jerry Saltz

During X initiative's Marathon night of bring your art Critic Jerry Saltz runs his own marathon of critique's that night with artists in the show. Artists flocked around Mr. Saltz to hear his thoughts on the work, the art world, and his own writing. Some doe eyed with adoration hoping for his attention and a quick picture with him or a chance to get some real feed back. It was opportunity to speak with him one on one informally I couldn't pass up. I asked him to give me a real constructive chat or it's pointless and he did after promising I wouldn't cry I have a strong heart. I appreciated and thank him for his candor and insight. It's a memory I'll keep with me for years to come.
