O Muslims! Be Different From the Disbelievers!

Assalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah!
In this video I question the idea of integrating into non-Muslim societies in order to spread Islam, and I talk about how this actually goes against Islam.
At one point I say,"Make Islam stronger", I was somewhat nervous and I was speaking quickly, I meant to say,"Make your faith in Islam stronger".

Here's just a couple verses for those who only follow the Qur'an:
"He who obeys the Messenger, has indeed obeyed Allaah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (O Muhammad) as a watcher over them." [al-Nisa' 4:80]

O you who believe! Answer Allâh (by obeying Him) and (His) Messenger when he (SAW) calls you to that which will give you life, and know that Allâh comes in between a person and his heart (i.e. He prevents an evil person to decide anything). And verily to Him you shall (all) be gathered. (Al-Anfal 8:24)

Here are also some verses about following Islam, and not the things of the disbelievers:
"Then We have put you (O Muhammad) on a plain way of (Our) commandment. So follow that, and follow not the desires of those who know not. Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allaah (if He wants to puish you). Verily, the zaalimoon (wrongdoers) are awliyaa' (protectors, helpers, etc.) to one another, but Allaah is the Wali (Protector, Helper) of the muttaqoon (pious)." [al-Jaathiyah 45:18-19]

"Follow what has been sent down unto you from your Lord, and follow not any awliyaa' (protectors, helpers, etc.) besides Him. Little do you remember!" [al-A'raaf 7:3]

And finally, here are the Hadiths I cited from the Prophet Muhammad(SAW):
One of these reports is the hadeeth of Ibn 'Umar who said that the Messenger of Allaah (SAW) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Be different from the mushrikeen: let your beards grow and trim your mustaches."

According to saheeh reports, the Prophet (SAW) (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever does something that is a not part of this matter of ours (i.e., Islam) will have it rejected" (reported by Muslim in his Saheeh)

"Whoever imitates a people is one of them." (Narrated by Abu Dawood).

Insha'Allah this will cause my brothers and sisters to think hard about the necessity of following the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and the necessity of standing strong for Islam. May Allah(SWT) guide us all to the straight path and keep us on it, and may He keep us all strong in Iman!Amin!
