Thank you so much i"ve been asking people around me on how to hear God and no one could give me a straigh answer. but thanx to you i think i"ll finally be able to pay attention to gods voice.

P.S. if the enemy is trying to fill my thoughts with bad thoughts during my quit time with God how do i get rid of them i try casting the thoughts down but doesnt seem to help much.

@james56ypyp James 4:7 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." ... come to God to truly know Him as He is- meaning be willing to disguard all images. Hold onto the truth. Have verses to meditate on that are contrary to the enemy's lies. Abide in the Word ... seeking truth - cling to it. Give no thought to the enemy's lies. As you continue to read and seek instruction from God you will be strengthened in the truth which will help you to resist.

I have questions. Back when they where putting the Bible together they had a consul that voted on which text to include in the Bible... so since that they did not include all of the text that orginally was written is the todays Bible really the full truth? What would you say to the idea that younger texts could also speak the word of God... like the books by Neale D Walsh? I really intersted of hearing your opinion on this. Anyway thanks for the good advise in your video.

@kyssuber there are other materials written that contain truth .. no doubt ... but the Bible contains books written without man's interpetation. Though they were selected by man, God had control of the process. Regardless, what we trust in is in the Holy Spirit to teach us ALL things ... He uses the Bible as a tool as He uses others things like our life. But we can't understand anything, if we aren't looking to Him to teach us.

I m a hard case and maybe an agnostic. I usually learn the hard way. been my own worst enemy most of my life. full of lust, full of fear, full of doubt. I have hope, love, seflishless and other good traits but I am also eaten up with fear and I don't trust or like most people very much. I don't trust much of anything in life. is it possible for me to get in tune with the spirit you speak of or do I have to be saved first? this is a serious question. I need inner peace.

@james56ypyp There was a real war fought between the devil and Jeses in Matthew chapter 4 verses 1 to 12. Notice how Jesus answered the lies, and notice what happens in verse 12. This is how to deal with negative thoughts. When I am in prayer, I get hit with some of the most vile thoughts. I know where they come from. I know this is the devil trying to lay the guilt trip on me. He gets nervous when Christians pray. 'Father, please breing this person to you, so he will be saved' (for you, sir)

@hillbillyghostify cont'd.. ans you will know him and he will know you. You will have that peace, and will feel like you are fully cleansed.. and it is the blood od Jesus that cleanses us from ALL unrighteousness. He will set you free.. and you can't earn this. Eternal life is the gift of God. He seeks them who will serve him, will you take that challenge? He can use you. I trusted him 38 yrs ago, and he changed my life that very day. I am now mid 60's and it gets sweeter all the time

@hillbillyghostify and the 'fruit' of his spirit is LOVE, joy, peace, gentleness kindness.. and you can go to Galatians ch 5:22 and read the rest of it. Jeesus came so that we might have LIFE and have it abundantly. all in the here and now. and of course, in eternity. He Loves us. Just come as you are; with all the baggage and doubt. He will take the burden and if you are willing to trust him as your Lord and saviour, then ask him to come into your heart and live in you. He will do it instantly

@hillbillyghostify Look to Jesus Christ first. It is he who will give you the Holy Spirit. We give him total Lordship over our lives and He is our Lord. We ask him to fill us with his spirit so that we can be doing those things that are pleasing in his sight. Read Romans Ch 8:1,2, and then 1 John 1, vs6 to end of ch. It's just so refreshing to hear someone like you who loves the Lord and it is sad that so many of us are indwelt by the Holy Spirit, but not totally empowered (for the Glory of God) There is a great tract by The Bill Bright foundation (CampusCrusade for Christ) and it is titled, 'Are you living the Spirit-Filled life?' I encourage you to get it and read it. It 'revived' my whole life
