Young Irish setter Giulla O'Conloch enjoys her first field trial.
Giulla's trial was on the first warm day of Spring 2008, temperatures around 22 degrees. No price only joy.
A day after on the beach and in the sea made it a great weekend for the young red setter.
It was held in Zeeuws Vlaanderen, the Netherlands by the Dutch club for Irish setters.
Her training was in small areas so she needed to adjust her quartering pattern to larger open fields of Zeeuws Vlaanderen.
In the end, Giulla was "beaten" by a tricky running pheasant. She could not nail it.
