The small islet of dearg sgeir is marked with a lighthouse and is the site of an exiting and unusual dive. The rondo was a 2360-ton, steamship, which broke her anchor in a storm, and grounded on to the rocks, in jan 1935.after 2 weeks she slipped down the steep reef bow first. Her wreck now lies with her bow in 50 meters and her stern in 9meters. Her bridge lies on the other side of the lighthouse. The entire interior of the wreck is accessible, and the hull forms a nice cave with the rocky slope. Fascinating marine life all the way down and back up again! The hull is covered in a healthy growth of plumose anemones. Another must do dive.
