  • what is the settings for this? Manual?

  • are you shooting on manual focus?!

  • @willyfoo thnxx...^_^ btw.. GREAT tips!

  • @CalvinHR You can use either Manual or Auto Focus.. If you use autofocus, I like to set my focus point to the middle cos that's the most sensitive part of the lens. Half depress to lock focus then tilt the camera to recompose the shot making sure you do not change the distance between subject and camera while doing so.

  • Love your videos. They are all to the point and you talk technical stuff so really like what you do.

  • do u use Manual Focus or???

  • Easy to follow instructions, keep going

  • @Pathrissia Each lens has a minimum focusing distance at wide and at tele. Do a focusing test by moving a subject as close as you can until you can't focus anymore. Remember that this is your minimum focusing distance and don't ever need to go closer than that. Repeat that when you zoom out and zoom in.

  • oh! duh! lol, yeah i've been doing all the appiture and shutter speeds right but i did not know i hadda zoom in all the way to get a shallow depth of field shot! now i know! cool! thanks!(:

  • Great video!
