  • My daschund is also very fierce. He is just afraid of people that is what our trainer told us. But once I settle people down and he sniffs them he gets used to them. Hang in there he'll get used to people soon!

    Thanks.

  • Hello,

I noticed the little daschund jump off the chair. I thought i should tell everyone who is an owner of daschies. My one once tryed to jump up onto the chair but fell backwards and stuffed a disc in his back. The operation was going to cost $7000 AU. We had the money, but we couldn't bring our selves to pay it with no guarantee. We read lots about this problem and decided to find an obanded shopping trolly, paint it black and place a pillow in it.

  • Stanley my daschund was paralised in the 2 back legs. After 2 months in the trolly (complete rest) he was walking again. He was also on flamitry tablets. It's been over 6 months now and he has made a full recovery. He can't run to well, but hes fine. Just thought i should give the heads up. So please take care of you daschies. And make sure you watch them when they jump on the chairs.

    Thanks.
