What cracks me up is that she is assuming that it's the Catholic church that's giving the money, but technically they're just the middle man. It's the Catholics themselves and is impugning their charitable nature. What does she think that the charitable catholics would do with their money if the church didn't exist? Probably donate it to charity. If she says that they wouldn't, then she is saying that they are ONLY good and charitable because their god or their church told them to be. Pathetic

@lexalulu997 What matters is an honest pursuit of the truth which I argue Hitchens , not the Church,would have us abandon. He could not abide a truth that pointed to a being greater than himself and his own intellect. And why should we be persuaded by him when he is by his own admission, just a trousered ape.
