So to build the new St.Catharines Performing Arts Centre, they first have to tear down the buildings.
Lucky me has to live right next door to this! The good part is that I can make cool videos for my Nephew Christian but the bad part is that my apartment has been shaking prettymuch for a week solid now, they sometimes work at 4AM! and through the night with HUGE floodlights pointed at my windows AND, worst of all, the main Cogeco wire that supplies not only my internet but the whole building, WAS attached to the building they are tearing down and comes from a pole just withing the construction area! Needless to say, they took the wire off the building and left it laying across the alleyway so that any cars that go to park behind my building runs it over AND my internet has been intermittent for the past 3-4 days!
I did feel a little special today when 3 (yes THREE!!!) ACTUAL Cogeco Trucks and techs came to check out this situation and they were even amazed at the cable left down to be run over!
