In "Harry Grunsky - Harry's Off Commercial (Part C)" Harry recalls working with PWA co-founder, Warren Jensen in Kelowna starting an okanagan gay organization called "OGO" (Okanagan Gay Organization). Starting in 1981, OGO hosted gay/lesbian dances at a schniztle house called "Hansel and Gretel". Back on the drive, Harry recalls the parade of endless gay funerals due to AIDs and how they desesitized and depressed our community until the advent of the breakthrough triple therapy AIDs cocktails in 1996. Harry goes on to give credit to straight women for helping to shift the balance of public opinion in favor of gay/lesbians rights, to gay women for giving gay men the backbone to organize and fight for gay/lesbian rights (during the AIDs crisis), and to straight men in unions and workplaces standing up for their gay/lesbian siblings or friends and speaking out against bigotry.
