Har waqt Tasaw'wur mein Madine ki gali ho
Aur yaad Muhammed ki mere dil mein basi ho

Do soz Bilaal AQA mile dard Raza sa
Sarkaar ata ishq Owais-e-Qarni ho

Ai kaash! mai banjaoon Madine ka musafir
Phir roti huwi Taibah ko baraat chali ho

Phir Rehmat-e-Bari se chaloon soo-e-Madina
Ai kaash! muqaddar se mayas'sar woh ghadi ho

Jab aaon Madine me to har chaak girebaan
Aankhaon se barasti huwi ashkaun ki jhadi ho

Ai kaash! Madine mein mujhe maut yoon aajae
Qadmaun mein Tere sar ho meri rooh chali ho

Jab leke chalo gharibaan ko janazah
Kuch khaak Madine ki mere munh pe saji ho

Jis waqt nakirein meri qabr mein aaein
Us waqt mere lab pe saji Naat-e-Nabi ho

ALLAH! karam aisa kare tujh par jahaan mein
Ai Dawate Islami teri dhoom machi ho

AQA ka gada hoon ai jahan'nam tu bhi sunle
Woh kaise jalay jo ke ghulam-e-Madani ho

Sadqa mere murshid ka karoon door balaein
Pura mera Sarkaar har armaan dili ho

Allah ki rehmat se to jannat hi milegi
Ai kaash! mahille me jagah unke mili ho

Mehfooz sada rakhna Shaha be adbaun se
Aur mujhse bhi sarzor kabhi be adbi ho

Har waqt Tasaw'wur mein Madinay ki gali ho
Aur yaad Muhammad ki mere dil mein basi ho

Every moment all I see is Madinah and the alley is where I am,
And a thought only of Muhammad in my heart that's enough for me.

Ai kaash! Madinay mein mujhe maut yoon aajae
Qadmaun mein Tere sar ho meri rooh chali ho

O Creator in Madinah let me meet my end,
On that ground with my head bowed down separate my body from my soul.

Jis waqt nakirein meri qabr mein aaein
Us waqt mere lab pe saji Naat-e-Nabi ho
At that time when the Angels come to question me in my grave,
At that time on my lips will shine only words of Naat-e-Nabi ho.

AQA ka gada hoon ai jahan'nam tu bhi sunle
Woh kaise jalay jo ke ghulam-e-Madani ho

Of my Creator I am a servant O fire of hell u too listen well,
How will he burn if he is serving Madani

A Hamd E Baari Ta'ala is recited at the beginning of every Mehfil E Naat, traditionally.

There's no real difference between Remembering the Lord or His Beloved (salAllahu Alayhi Wa sallam)...Even Allah Ta'ala sends Durood upon RasoolAllah SalAllahu Alayhi Wa Sallam..

Personally I agree there should be more Hamds recited as well.

But the reason is that when some one is reciting Naat-e-Rasool SAWW everyone else are saying Subhan Allah, Masha Allah, Alhumdulillah, Allahu Akbar.

So they are basically covering it up I guess by praising Allah Subhana Wa Ta'ala.

and Muhammad actually means (Jis ki har aane wala tareef kare) :)
