  • Everytime I watch this I am amazed how Ellen and the audience just think she's this weird glute-exercising internet anomaly, and don't realize they have one of the most famous bellydancers in the WORLD on the show. Too bad she didn't dance for them, that would've blown 'em away.

  • @DimaRakesah It is a move some dancers use. Gluteal shimmies are part of my dance arsenal. ;)

  • I wish Suhaila would have explained WHY this exercise is done. This makes it seem like it's a move we actually do, when in fact it's an exercise to learn to isolate a particular muscle and use that isolation for hip work.

  • its a shame you can't actually see her vibrate on this... I saw it in person the other day at a workshop with her... She's an AMAZING woman!!

  • @Magellanicloud13 back in 2004 I was lucky enough to take a 2 day seminar with her. It was AMAZING. I learned so much in 16 hours.

  • haahhaaaaa great LOL!! i love these gals!!!!!

  • @madmarchhare We are also women, we also have feelings. I don't see the need to undermine slim girls just to defend a larger body type. Absolutely no need to generalize. I am not e demon without human value for being a size zero. My doctor has the only saying when it comes to me eating healthy, exercising regularly, dancing and other activities that keep my body looking the way it does. It takes work, and it's unfair for anyone to say that I achieve this by not eating.

  • @madmarchhare All of us have body fat, that's just a fact. It's just the actual amount that changes. A doctor will tell you when you need more or less body fat.

Personally, I think Suhaila is very pretty and it's good to have variety out there to show that beauty has no size. But, I also think it's unnecessary for you or anyone to assume that us "skinny" girls look this way because we starve ourselves.

  • @Magellanicloud13 100% agree with you. It's a shame.

  • Oh a glute vibration, ohh ,I thought it was a anal sphincter move.

  • No. the thighs move slightly cause they are attached to the gluts in a way. I do this for my dancing and I can tell you my thighs do move slightly but I'm not contracting them at all.
