@kendawg17 AC/DC is heavily influenced by the blues. Listen to Angus` solos , it`s blues cranked to 10 thru a Marshall. "The Jack", "Gone Shootin","Night Prowler" , blues based hard rock

comparing AC/DC and VH is like comparing apples to oranges. AC/DC heavy metalized the blues, yes the blues. Essentially a blues band where as VH is more of a next step to and influenced by 50's and 60's based rock "and alcohol". Both bands are great in thier own rights, don't get me wrong. I love them both but there is no way to compare the two intelligently.
