Dublin High School Science Lead Teacher Janet Kaehms, Principal Carol Shimizu and Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees President David Haubert recognized four Dublin High School students for their award-winning science fair projects that competed at the Tri-Valley Science and Engineering Fair. The Tri-Valley Science and Engineering Fair is held annually for students across the tri-valley and is sponsored by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Dublin High School junior Kirsten Mengell speaks briefly about her first place entry on teenage sleep deprivation. Ms. Mengell also won a $1,000 scholarship for her project in the young Epidemiology Scholars Competition.
