Im a tech at a bmw dealer and I can imagine hearing other techs say "next step" all damn day. seriously though I really hope this never comes out.

This seems to be an all around bad idea. Distorting a mechanics field of vision is a quick way of having the mechanic overlook key clues as to the problems of the engine.
