  • Its a simple technique but it takes a shitload of time to actually master it.

  • Could you use Guassian Blur instead of feathering the layer mask? Same difference I guess. Anyway, awesome technique. I never would have thought to paint thin lines at 100% opacity and then feather it out. Great idea.

  • good tutorial but I was a bit lost on what you were doing a lot of the time. especially on the part where you could paint on the curves I wasnt sure how to fill the adjustment layer with black, and then how you painted off the highlights that you didn't want.

    but good tutorial nonetheless.
