Semaphore signals, signal boxes and crossing gates Harling Road to Lowestoft.Locations covered are Harling Road, Eccles Road, Attleborough, Spooner Row, Brundall, Lingwood, Acle, Yarmouth and Lowestoft
Video taken on 8/4/2011.
The first section, Harling Road to Spooner Row, slated for eradication this year (2012). No doubt the others will soon follow.

  • @rackellar Hi. Thank you. Yes I was aware that I missed Wymondham. I had visited there a few times previously, (but had not videoed). I was a bit pressed for time that day knowing that my aim was to get to Lowestoft, and I thought I'd revisit Wymondham another day. (Also I had heard the box was not going to be demolished, just moved back a bit to be used by the MNR). Will visit there, and also get more coverage of Attleborough, soon, hopefully before the semaphores go!

  • Great video, I am a signalman on the Ely-Norwich line and these boxes will be sorely missed. You missed out Wymondham though :(
