  • Sorry artistry is a choosen lifestyle and not a right - Not saying art should be banned, but it is not a right like in the same way as health care. People say it brings harmony, self awareness, and encourages self expression. Sailing does all these things for me too so as does travelling - Should the government fund my sailboat and pay for my travels? Hell no. Stop expecting others to pay for your lifestyle recreation choices and take some responsibility.

  • Free-market. If no one wants to buy your art crap too bad. Get a new job or starve. Its not government job to save the incompetent. Nor your right to be saves. If you had remained prudent you would have no problem but you lack initiative and willingness to be flexible and innovate. Thus you have failed prior, you have fail now and you will continue to fail in the future.

  • I wish i had been there!!!

  • dude, I HEAR YOU!!!

  • totally agree

i did a video about it called

IS VANCOUVER BECOMING AN ORWELLIAN NIGHTMARE

    you should take a look

  • Canpbell and his cronies are like Harper, if it doesn't help his big corporate buddies then he ignores it. Start the recall vote now.

  • Electronic Arts

    Squaresoft

    Radical

There are so many video game developers, movie production companies, post production, music production facilities, graphic design facilities in BC.And, that is just the electronic media. Why in the world do they want to cut funding from the heart of Vancouver's economy? That is bread and butter right there.

  • This problem needs to be fixed!!!!

    Thanks to everyone who demonstrated.

  • Fantastic speeches from all the speakers- great to see so many out supporting the cause!
